ESPN’s “College Gameday” is going back to Baton Rouge.
The popular pregame show, which heads to one of the marquee matchups in the sport each Saturday, will be returning to the campus of LSU for the first time since 2019 ahead of the Tigers’ game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.
That previous visit came during the eventual National Championship winning season, where Joe Burrow and company took home the title. That visit from gameday also came ahead of a matchup with the Florida Gators, in which LSU won 42-28.
This time around, the Tigers enter with a record of 6-2. They pulled off a six-game winning streak after a season opening loss, which included a home win over Ole Miss. They fell in their most recent game to Texas A&M, and have a bye this week.
Alabama is also 6-2 in their first season under Kalen Deboer, who took over for Nick Saban after his retirement. The Tide had a big top five win over Georgia, but fell to both Vanderbilt and Tennessee. They are also on a bye this week.
“College Gameday” will air from 8:00-11:00 AM on Saturday, November 9th and will take place at The Quad. Kickoff is set for 6:30 PM inside Death Valley when the Tigers take on the Crimson Tide. You can hear the action on ESPN 103.7 Lafayette 104.1 Lake Charles.
