After going down with an injury in the loss on Friday against the Utah Jazz, Pelicans fans held their breath while expecting the worst case scenario for Anthony Davis.
Those fans can now breathe a little bit easier as the Pelicans announced on Monday that their star forward’s MRI results came back negative, meaning no structural damage. Davis was diagnosed with a left adductor strain by the team doctors and is ruled out for Monday night against the Golden State Warriors.
Going forward, Davis will be day-to-day. Considering the fact that the Pelicans will have five games over the next seven days, it’ll be interesting to see when he will be a full go.
