Former shooting guard for the University of Louisiana men’s basketball team Frank Bartley IV has been named LEB Gold League Player of the Year, Guard of the Year and First-Team All-League.
Bartley spent two seasons with the Ragin’ Cajuns after he transferred from BYU. He averaged 17.8 points per game in his senior season at UL and signed to play for C.B. Valladolid in Spain in 2019.
C.B. Valladolid finished 18-7 in the 2019-20 season. Bartley averaged 16.2 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game in his first year with C.B. Valladolid.
Bartley previously played for the National Basketball League of Canada. He played for Saint John Riptide, where he averaged 19.5 points per game in the 2018-19 season and named Newcomer of the Year.
The former Ragin’ Cajun earned All-Sun Belt First Team in 2018 and Newcomer of the Year in 2017.
