Trevor Etienne has declared for the NFL Draft.

The former Jennings High star and Georgia running back announced on social media that he would forgo his senior season for the NFL.

Despite missing time due to injuries, Etienne rushed for 609 yards, averaged 4.9 yards per carry, and scored nine rushing touchdowns, including the game-winning score in the SEC Championship Game against Texas.

The 5-foot-9, 205-pound Etienne also had 32 receptions for 194 yards and earned All-SEC third-team honors this season.

Etienne arrived at Georgia after playing his first two seasons for the Florida Gators.

He appeared in 13 games as a true freshman rushing for 719 yards, averaging six yards per carry, and scoring six rushing touchdowns. Etienne also caught nine passes for 66 yards, returned 17 kickoffs, and earned Freshman All-SEC honors.

Etienne appeared in 11 games in 2023 as he rushed for 753 yards and led the Gators in rushing touchdowns (eight), yards per carry (5.7), and yards per game (68.4). He also had 21 receptions for 172 yards and a touchdown.

Etienne — the younger brother of former Clemson star and current Jacksonville running back Travis — was a four-star recruit by 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN coming out of Jennings High School, where he earned all-state honors.

Etienne is the fourth player from Southwest Louisiana to have declared for the NFL Draft. He joins TCU wide receiver Jack Bech (St. Thomas More), Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris (Comeaux High), and Ole Miss cornerback Trey Amos (Catholic High of New Iberia).

The 2025 NFL Draft will be held from April 24 to 26 at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
