GET TO KNOW THE GAME: Who was your first celebrity crush?

Posted by Raymond Partsch III on April 5, 2022 in Blogs, Featured, James's Blog, Latest News, Miguez's Blog, RP3's Blogs

Every week the lineup of THE GAME 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles — Southwest Louisiana’s Sports Station will share a little something personal about themselves with “Get to Know The Game.” This week THE GAME squad answers the question: “Who Was Your First Celebrity Crush?”

Hannah Five Names (Morning Producer)
“My first celebrity crush was Nelly when I was about two years old, so my Momma says. Growing up I thought that one he was fine and two I wanted him to become my boyfriend and marry him so I could fix his boo boos. He is still FFFFYYYNNNEEE today and one of my favorite songs is still “Ride Wit Me.” Best song to jump on a trampoline and listen to!”

Matt Miguez (Host of Crunchtime with Miguez & Meche)
“My first celebrity crush was Miley Cyrus, global popstar and star of the hit Disney series “Hannah Montana”. When I was 7-10 years old, she was 12-15 and she was close enough in age to me to where…it could’ve happened. Besides, a brunette that could go blonde in seconds? WOAH. Her voice is one of an angel and the mini skirts she wore did something to me. The concert of hers that I attended when I was a child made my heart happy and I wish she was back to her old self.”

Clint Domingue (Host of Under the Dome)
“The first celebrity crush that I can remember is Amy Jo Johnson, the original Pink Ranger. I can vividly remember getting home every afternoon from school, getting to the TV and turning on “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers” and seeing her every episode hit a certain way to a younger me. Of course I watched the show for the action, but I stuck around for Kimberly Hart.”

Raymond Partsch III (Host of RP3 & Company)
“The first time I remember having a serious celebrity crush was when I was about 11 or 12 years old, and I had a crush on two celebrities. The first was Tiffani Amber Thiessen because she was the ultimate “girl next door” as Kelly Kapowski from “Saved by the Bell”. Pretty sure that crush never went away either. The other was Paula Abdul. I had the cassette tape of “Forever Your Girl” and yes, I even had a Paula Abdul poster on the wall.”

Jordy Hultberg (Host of The Jordy Hultberg Show)
“My first celebrity crush was Farrah Fawcett. I saw her on “Charlie’s Angels” for the first time, the blonde flowing hair. Yeah that was it. My sisters got me her famous poster to hang in my room. Farrah Fawcett, my first crush.”

James Meche (Afternoon Producer)
“My first celebrity crush that I can remember is Jennifer Lawrence. She was first introduced to me in the movie adaptation of “The Hunger Games” series and I fell in love with her looks and my feeling was further reinforced once I found out her personality, and how she acted in interviews. She felt like my soulmate, even if she’s nine years older than me.”

Kevin Foote (Host of Footenotes)
“My celebrity crush was Olivia Newton-John. This was actually the country music version of Olivia Newton-John before she got popular in “Grease” and a decade before that “Let’s Get Physical” silliness. ‘If you love me, let  me know’ … Cat, you can’t press “B17” if Olivia tells you not to.”
