It was a pretty good week overall for the LSU Tigers. Fresh off of a big 40-24 win over Ole Miss, a pair of Tigers received some notice for their hard work last Saturday.
Derrius Guice was named the SEC Offensive Player of the Week after racking up 276-yards on 22 carries. This was the first time the junior earned the honor this year and fourth in his career.
Connor Culp earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors after going four-for-four on field goals, the most in a single game by an LSU kicker since 2011. The freshmen has now made seven straight field goals.
LSU will have this week off before the big game against the Alabama Crimson Tide with kickoff set for 7 pm.
