Cajuns Baseball

The hot streak for the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns (27-14-1) is becoming amazing to watch. They made it nine straight on Tuesday night, taking down the Texas Longhorns (28-16) by the score of 8-1.

The Cajuns got out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first with Steven Sensley hitting an RBI single to center field.

Joe Robbins put what would be the finishing touches in the top of the second with a grand slam to left center field. That capped off a six run inning that all started with Hunter Kasuls hitting an RBI single.

The final nail was put in after Brenn Conrad reached on a wild pitch in the seventh that allowed Robbins to reach home safely.

Evan Guillory improved to 3-2 on the year allowing only three hits, walked two, and struck out four in six innings of work.

The Cajuns will return to Russo Park on Wednesday night when they take on McNeese State (28-11) with first pitch scheduled for 6 pm.
