The COVID-19 Crisis has put a lot of people out of a job. One industry hit especially hard is the restaurant and hospitality industry. Many restaurants have downsized their staff to just a few employees. And some eateries have closed their doors temporarily. Local groups are banding together to help these restaurant and hotel workers get back on their feet. And they are doing with a cool-looking T-shirt.
Eat Lafayette by Lafayette Travel, Coca-Cola, Talk-N-T Shirts and the United Way of Acadiana have collaborated to help fellow hospitality workers who have lost employment due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They have created the “Feed the Envie” t-shirt designed by Lance LeBlanc. The shirts are $25 each. Sales from this shirt will go to support Hospitality Industry Workers in Lafayette Parish.
