I’m Gus Johnson-Esque!?

Posted by on September 16, 2015 in Featured

A close friend of mine in Brandon Williams A.K.A. “Bam” A.K.A. to me as “Bammers” compared by play-by-play announcing style to one crazy, energetic, and loud toned Gus Johnson from Fox Sports 1.

I will gladly take it! That’s quite a generous compliment in my mind! If you want to listen to a small sample size of some of my football PBP calls, you can go to my last blog entry entitled: “The Bang Bangin’ 2-0 Carencro Golden Bears!”

Johnson is why we wake up for sports and love it so much! The man brings the excitement, sense of humor, and straight crazy randomness to the broadcast! March Madness isn’t the same without him. All of his basketball game calls are great, but so are his football calls as well. This one stuck out for me as I remember watching it live and hearing Johnson go nuts. It was awesome!

Here’s the youtube video of Johnson’s call courtesy of SportsPlaysandNews…

Thank You for hanging out with me on the sidelines. Until next time, have a nice day, a goodnight, and a better tomorrow to you all!
