As I watched my boy Chris Heston toss a no-hitter last night against the New York Mets, I was happy to see him do it and become the 17th S.F. Giants pitcher to accomplish the great feat and the fourth in the last four seasons.
After a minute though, I wondered how others feel about a no-hitter being thrown nowadays in the Major Leagues. Before last night, there have been a whopping 15 no-no’s thrown in the league since the 2012 season began. Is it anything special at this day and age? Post steroids era? Is this a pitching dominated league? Do you like it? I’m a pitching first kind of guy so I love it. How do you feel about it?
