The regular season has wrapped up and the Southeastern Conference is starting to dole out some superlatives, starting on Tuesday with the SEC Community Service Tea for 2017.
Senior J.D. Moore was chosen to represent LSU on the team. The Ruston native has been involved with numerous community service related activities during his time at LSU. One of the highlights was helping with flood relief back in August of 2016.
The senior has a 4.0 grade point average in architecture and was featured in a promotional video for the architecture program.
It should come as no surprise that Moore has been named to the SEC Community Service Team since he wears the No. 18 on the field. The jersey number is given to a player that best represents what it means to be an LSU football player and one who serves as a great teammate, possessing a selfless attitude, and work ethic both on and off the field.
