Joe Burrow wore “Burreaux” as a tribute to Louisiana

On Senior night, LSU QB Joe Burrow wore a special jersey to commemorate the evening during the pregame festivities. That jersey, identical to his regular jersey except for his last name spelled “Burreaux.”

Burrow said the idea was something he came up with this week to honor the state of Louisiana for his last game at Tiger Stadium. When Coach Orgeron was asked after the game if Joe could have worn the jersey in the game he said that “Joe could do anything he wants to do.”
