After one LSU offensive lineman was reinstated, another has decided to transfer.
The university has confirmed that Jonah Austin has decided to leave the football and transfer to an undetermined location. No reason for the decision to leave given, but based off the previous two seasons Austin could be in a backup role for the 2015 season.
The New Orleans native came into LSU as a three star recruit in 2011 and was rated as the 58th best offensive tackle. Austin saw no action in his first two years at LSU and played only 12 total games in the last two years.
If Austin ends up at another FBS institution, he would be eligible to play in 2015 as a graudate transfer.
