It’s been a very quiet Hurricane Season so far, but that’s about to change.
Potential Tropical Cyclone Six, prepared to be named Tropical Storm Francine on Monday, fired up in the Gulf of Mexico over the weekend and its current track has it making landfall in Acadiana.
According to our friends at KADN News15, the storm could become a tropical storm today and intensify quickly as it inches closer to the Louisiana coastline with landfall expected Wednesday evening.
As always, make sure your cars and generators are full of gas, food kits are well stocked, and batteries and other household needs are prepared. As always, stay tuned to News15 and our Delta Media family of stations for more information as the system develops.
