Cajuns first baseman Alex Pinero provided the offense and Nick Lee won his fourth game of the season as Louisiana defeated St. Peter’s 6-1.
Pinero went 3-4, with a pair of doubles, scoring twice and knocking in two runs with Lee following Gunner Leger’s Friday night outing, allowing a run on three hits in six innings. Catcher Handsome Monica chipped with a two hits and 2 RBI and Kennon Fontenot kept up his hot hitting, going 2-3 and scoring a run.
