The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns are starting to put the finishing touches on their coaching staff for the 2018 season and have kept it fairly local with the hiring of Tim Leger on Wednesday.
“Tim Leger is a terrific coach and recruiter,” Napier said. “He will bring great experience and wisdom relative to our recruiting footprint and strategy. In my short time around Tim, his ability to teach and attention to detail were elite. He will be a great addition to our staff.”
Leger was in the same position at UL Monroe the last two seasons, helping the program average 288.8 receiving yards per game last year, good for third in the Sun Belt.
His son Gunner is an All-American for the Cajuns baseball program and was the first player in school history to be named a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award.
