The Louisiana Ragin Cajuns Athletic Director Dr. Bryan Maggard was announced on Tuesday to serve as chair of the Sun Belt Conference’s Council for the next two years.
The two-year commitment allows Maggard the opportunity to work closely with newly-arrived Sun Belt Commissioner Keith Gill, who joined the league in March from the Atlantic 10 Conference.
Maggard is preparing for his third season as the athletic director after coming over from the University of Missouri to take over the Athletic Director position in February 2017.
