The Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns announced two future opponents for football on Thursday. The Cajuns will face the USC Trojans in 2026 and the TCU Horned Frogs in 2028.
The USC game is scheduled for September 12th, 2026 in Los Angeles and completes the non-conference schedule for now. UL is set to receive $1.3 million for the game according to reports. The matchup will be the first ever between the two schools on the football field.
That finalizes the 2026 non-conference schedule for now, but it could still change. If Louisiana Tech joins the Sun Belt Conference early, UL would have to replace their scheduled game. They also have games against Lamar and UAB on the books.
The TCU game is scheduled for September 16th, 2028 in Fort Worth. The matchup will be the second ever and first since the 2024 Isleta New Mexico Bowl, won by TCU.
