Ragin’ Cajuns Running Back Montrell Johnson was named Sun Belt Player of the Week after he helped lead his team over Ohio last Thursday.
Johnson ran for a career-high 84 yards and got into the end zone four times in the Cajuns 49-14 victory over the Ohio Bobcats.
The New Orleans native is the first Ragin’ Cajun to rush for four touchdowns in one game since both Elijah McGuire and Alonzo Harris scored four times each against the Arkansas State Red Wolves on October 21st 2014.
Johnson is in a very select group, being just one of six players in the nation with four rushing touchdowns in a single game this season.
