The Sun Belt Conference announced on Tuesday the preseason All-Sun Belt selections and junior outside hitter Hali Wisnoskie was the lone selection from the Louisiana Ragin Cajuns volleyball program.
Wisnoskie has led Louisiana in kills per set and ranked Top 10 in the Sun Belt in the category each of the past two seasons.
In the preseason poll, the Ragin’ Cajuns were picked fifth in the difficult West Division with only four points separating the squad from third place.
Louisiana (15-15, 7-9 SBC in 2018) is set to open preseason practice on Saturday, Aug. 10, beginning preparations for the 12th season under the guidance of head coach Heather Mazeitis-Fontenot.
Fans can get a glimpse of the 2019 squad during the Vermilion and White Scrimmage on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 2 p.m. inside Earl K. Long Gym, followed by Fan Day festivities at the Cajundome Convention Center on Sunday, Aug. 18 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
