The LSU football program did not have a busy day on National Signing Day.
However, they put a bow on one of the best recruiting classes in the nation on Wednesday.
LSU added offensive lineman Kimo Makaneole and defensive lineman Saivion Jones.
Makaneole is a 6’4, 285-pound lineman from Niceville, Fla. He was ranked No. 27 in the country among offensive lineman in the 2021 class and the No. 73-ranked prospect in the state of Florida.
Jones is a 6’5, 240-pound defensive lineman from Vacherie, La. He played at St. James High School. Jones is a 4-star player, according to 247Sports. He was also ranked the No. 5-ranked overall prospect in the state of Louisiana.
LSU has the No. 4 overall signing class in the nation and No. 3 in the Southeastern Conference, according to 247Sports.
