The LSU baseball team has dropped in the major college baseball polls as a result of losing two out of three games to the Ole Miss Rebels this past weekend. The Tigers would get off to good start on Friday with an 8-3 victory over Ole Miss; but the Rebels would come back on Saturday with a 5-1 win and finish off the series on Sunday with a wild 10 inning 19-15 victory.
LSU now currently sits at #15 in the D1 Baseball Poll, #15 in the Perfect Game Poll, #16 in the Baseball America Poll, and #18 in the Collegiate Baseball Poll.
The Tigers will play a mid-week game on Tuesday against Louisiana Tech; before hitting the road and starting a 3 game SEC series with #4 Arkansas in Fayetteville on Friday.
