The LSU Tigers, fresh off a thrilling overtime victory over Ole Miss, rose five spots to 8th in both the AP and Coaches Poll.

The Bayou Bengals scored touchdowns on their final two drives to tie the game in regulation and then win it in overtime as fans stormed the field following the dramatic victory. LSU will now head to Fayetteville Saturday night to face Arkansas for the Battle of the Boot. Kickoff is set for 6:00 p.m. on ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles.

Around the nation, Texas throttled Oklahoma in the Red River Rivalry, Oregon took down Ohio State in a top-five thriller, and both Alabama and Tennessee had to survive at home.
