Following a wild Saturday of college football that saw several top-ranked teams lose in dramatic fashion, the latest polls saw a major shakeup in the top ten with the Tigers moving closer to the top.
After the thrilling overtime win over the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Tigers are in the top ten in both the AP and Coaches Top 25 Poll. Just last week the Tigers were 15th in the AP and 17th in the Coaches polls but now sit at 7th and 8th respectively while Alabama dropped to 10th and 11th following the second loss of the season.
The Tigers return to action next week when they play Arkansas with kickoff set for 11 am.
