It’s not often you see the LSU Tigers (10-4, 1-1 SEC) beat the Arkansas Razorbacks (11-4, 1-2 SEC) inside Bud Walton Arena. In fact, heading into this matchup, the Tigers have only come out of Fayetteville with a win six times.
You can now make it seven times for the Tigers after Wednesday night with the Tigers getting out in front early and came away with a 75-54 win.
It was all LSU from the outset with the Tigers getting out to a 15-5 lead with 14:09 left in the first half. The Tigers really began to pull away late with some solid shooting from Randy Onwuasor to make it 41-21 at the break.
It looked like LSU was going to put the game on ice early, but the Razorbacks started to pull within 12 points with 10:42 left in regulation with a strong 12-6 run. However, the Tigers pulled away for a good with an 8-0 run over 1:53 to officially put it out of reach.
The Tigers will return to the PMAC on Saturday night when they face off against the Alabama Crimson Tide (10-6, 2-2 SEC) with tipoff set for 7:30 pm.
