The 2021 recruiting class for LSU continues to grab the best talent from across the country, getting another out-of-state commit on Sunday in Greg Penn III.
The four-star Maryland linebacker announced his commitment to the Tigers on Sunday afternoon, extending LSU’s reach to 10 states with the 16 commitments in its recruiting class.
LSU’s class now ranks No. 5 nationally, according to 247Sports, behind Ohio State, Clemson, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Penn is the 9th overall inside linebacker recruit in the nation per 247Sports and is the third linebacker in this class to commit to LSU, joining four-star outside linebackers Raesjon Davis and Zavier Carter.
