The LSU Tigers football program made headlines once again.
Clemson transfer linebacker Mike Jones Jr. announced on Wednesday he will commit to LSU.
The 6-foot, 220-pound linebacker has three years of eligibility. Jones totaled 30 tackles with four tackles for a loss in 10 games last season. He also recorded one forced fumble and two interceptions.
In 2019, Jones totaled 19 total tackles, including four tackles for loss. He played in all 15 games in the 2019 season.
Jones entered the transfer portal on Jan. 25. He will be eligible to play for LSU immediately.
The Tennessee native was ranked as ESPN’s No. 10 linebacker in the 2018 class.
