Over the last decade, LSU has become a haven for great wide receiver talent. From the dynamic duo of Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry to some of the more recent members of Wide Receiver U in Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, that alone is a powerful recruiting tool.
LSU head coach Ed Orgeron may have added another monster to the wide receiving corps in Zachary product Chris Hilton. Hilton, a four-star prospect and the No. 65 overall player in the Class of 2021, committed to the Tigers over Alabama, Texas A&M, Georgia and other high-profile suitors.
Hilton is LSU’s 14th commitment of the 2021 recruiting cycle and the highest-ranked wide receiver in its class. The Tigers now rank No. 7 overall and No. 2 in the SEC in the updated 247Sports Composite team rankings.
