LSU men’s basketball team climbs to No. 18 in both college polls

BATON ROUGE – The LSU Tigers are on the rise.

The only undefeated team in Southeastern Conference play moved up in both college basketball polls on Monday. LSU rose four spots to No. 18 in the AP Top 25 Poll while climbing six spots to No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

This marks the second consecutive week that LSU is ranked in both Top 25 polls, the fourth time the team is ranked in the AP Poll and third time in the USA Today poll.

LSU returns to action on the road at Vanderbilt on Wednesday night with tip set for 8 p.m. and then on the road at Auburn on Saturday with tip at 11 a.m.
