LSU freshman running back Derrius Guice was transported to a hospital Wednesday from the LSU football practice facility, according to the Advocate.
WBRZ first reported that an unnamed player was transported to the hospital and this was later confirmed by LSU spokesman Michael Bonnette that a player was sent to the hospital.
This is seen as only a precautionary measure while the injury or illness is currently unknown.
Guice is a five-star rated prospect by Rivals.com and is ranked as high as second in the 2015 running back class.
