The LSU Tigers remain 13th in the latest edition of the AP Poll after a Week 6 bye.
The Bayou Bengals went into their bye with a 4-1 record after a convincing win at home over South Alabama closed out the non-conference slate. LSU will now continue their stretch of SEC games by welcoming #9 Ole Miss to Tiger Stadium Saturday night with kickoff at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN 103.7 Lafayette and 104.1 Lake Charles.
Around the nation, five of the top 11 teams lost on Saturday, including top-ranked Alabama falling to unranked Vanderbilt, #4 Tennessee losing to Arkansas, and Missouri getting routed by Texas A&M.
