
After overcoming Arkansas Little Rock in a winner-take-all game on Monday night inside Alex Box Stadium, the LSU Tigers will now prepare for an NCAA Super Regional against West Virginia.
The Tigers overcame an early 5-1 deficit to win 10-6, just one day after dropping their first game of the Baton Rouge Regional to Little Rock 10-4 on Sunday. The Tigers coasted early in the regional, outscoring Little Rock and DBU 19-0 in the first two games to get to Regional Sunday.
West Virginia advanced to the Baton Rouge Super Regional after defeating Kentucky on Sunday to win the Clemson Regional. The Mountaineers went 3-0 on the weekend, defeating the Wildcats on Friday and Sunday as well as defeating the regional host Tigers on Saturday in the winner’s bracket.
The Super Regional schedule in Baton Rouge is as follows:
Game 1: Saturday, June 7 – 1:00 p.m. CT
Game 2: Sunday, June 8 – 5:00 p.m. CT
Game 3: Monday, June 9 – TBD
