The LSU Tigers (8-3, 5-3 SEC) will be headed west for a bowl game. More specifically, to Houston Texas.
The Tigers will be meeting up with the Texas Tech Red Raiders (7-5) in the Advocare Texas Bowl.
This will be the first appearance for LSU in the bowl game. It will be the second time for the Red Raiders, who last appeared in the Texas Bowl in 2012 with a 34-31 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The Tigers and the Red Raiders will face off on December 29th with kickoff scheduled for 8 pm.
