
Sai’vion Jones is headed to Denver, Colorado.
Jones, who spent all four years of his collegiate career in Baton Rouge as an LSU Tiger, is now a Denver Bronco. The Broncos selected Jones in the third round with the 101st pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
In his sophomore season, Jones worked up into an elevated role and recorded 23 tackles, six tackles for loss, and four and a half sacks in 14 games played. The prominent edge rusher role would remain in his final two years with the Tigers.
Jones’ 2023 junior season featured him racking up more assisted tackles, 26 to be exact, which improved his total number of tackles to 33. Jones also recorded four tackles for loss as two and a half sacks in 13 games played.
The 6’6″ 280-pounder played his final college year last season with the Tigers and racked up career highs in solo tackles (19), total tackles (40), tackles for losses (8), and tied his sophomore year in sacks with four and a half, all in 13 games.
Before his days with the purple and gold, Jones was a two-sport athlete at St. James High School. During his junior and senior seasons, Jones had 159 total tackles, 20 sacks, and 47 tackles for loss. Those contributions helped the Wildcats win a state championship in the 2019-2020 season.
Now, the Vacherie, Louisiana native sets his sights on Colorado to become a Denver Bronco. As a defense, Denver finished last season first in the NFL in sacks with 63, gave up the seventh fewest yards per game, and was eighth in takeaways.
