LSU’s matchup against Missouri moved to Faurot Field

Posted by Louis Prejean on October 7, 2020 in Blogs, Featured, Latest News, LSU Tigers
LSU senior outside linebacker Michael Divinity Jr. has reportedly left the football program.

The LSU Tigers Saturday matchup against Missouri has officially been moved to Faurot Field in Columbia, Missouri.

The Southeastern Conference announced on Wednesday the game has been relocated as Hurricane Delta approaches Louisiana.

The game between LSU and Missouri was originally scheduled to be in Tiger Stadium with kickoff at 8 p.m. The game will now kickoff at 11 a.m.

This will be the first time LSU has played Missouri in its home state.

SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey released the following statement regarding the relocation:

“Due to the pending impact of Hurricane Delta on Louisiana and the surrounding area, it is in the best interest for the safety of everyone involved to move the game to Columbia. It was critical to relocate the game to an SEC campus where SEC COVID-19 management protocols are in place and readily applied. I appreciate the cooperation of the schools who are working closely to make the appropriate operational adjustments in order to prioritize the health and safety of our student-athletes while accommodating this change in the schedule.”

You can listen to LSU vs. Missouri on Saturday, Oct. 10 on 103.7 The Game, Acadiana’s Sports Station.
