BJ Ojulari was again named as the SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week for his performance in LSU’s 21-17 win over Auburn.

Ojulari had four tackles and two sacks on the Plains Saturday night, resulting in eight yards lost and one of his sacks led to an LSU touchdown.

LSU was down 17-0 in the second quarter of the contest before Ojulari strip-sacked Robby Ashford and it was returned by Jay Ward for a touchdown. The Tigers would outscore Auburn 21-0 throughout the remainder of the game.

Auburn was held to 145 yards in the second half by LSU’s defense, as they also turned the ball over twice. The Tigers’ 17-point comeback was the largest on the road for an SEC game since 1979 (28-24 win vs Ole Miss).

This is Ojulari’s fourth SEC Defensive Player of the Week honor in his career and the second of the season after getting the honor from his performance against Mississippi State.

Ojulari and LSU football will host #8 Tennessee this weekend in Baton Rouge. Kickoff is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. and you can hear all the action on The Game.
