LSU’s Trendon Watford declares for 2021 NBA Draft

The first LSU Tiger has declared for the upcoming 2021 NBA Draft.

LSU forward Trendon Watford announced on Wednesday he is declaring for the NBA Draft. The draft is scheduled for July 29.

Watford states he plans to hire an agent. He would have had two years of eligibility left at LSU.

Watford appeared in 28 games in his sophomore season for the Tigers. He averaged 16.3 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists last season. The 6-foot-9 forward shot 48 percent from the field.
