The pipeline from Baton Rouge to the NFL continued on Saturday.

After having four players selected in the first three rounds of the NFL Draft, more former LSU stars received phone calls from coaches and general managers on Saturday with rounds four through seven.

Cade York was the first Tiger selected on Saturday and became the first LSU place kicker in program history to be drafted. The Cleveland Browns selected York in the fourth round (Pick 124).

York holds the LSU record for longest field goal in school history (57 yards), longest field goal in Tiger Stadium (56 yards) and most 50-plus yard field goals in program history.

Defensive lineman Neil Farrell Jr. was the second Tiger off the board on Saturday as he was selected in the fourth round (Pick 126) by the Las Vegas Raiders.

The 6-foot-4, 325-pound Farrell Jr. appeared in 51 games (21 starts), recorded 143 tackles, 22.5 tackles for a loss and 7.5 sacks. Farrell Jr. also earned SEC Academic Honor Roll honors twice (2020, 2021).

Linebacker Damone Clark meanwhile was selected in the fifth round (Pick 176) by the Dallas Cowboys.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Clark had a breakthrough 2021 season for the Tigers.

Clark recorded 135 tackles and 5.5 sacks and earned second-team All-American honors (Walter Camp and The Sporting News), second-team All-SEC honors and was a Dick Butkus Award finalist.

A pair of offensive linemen were drafted on Saturday.

Austin Deculus was selected by the Houston Texans in the sixth round (Pick 205) while Chasen Hines was taken in the sixth round (Pick 210) by the New England Patriots.

The 6-foot-7, 325-pound Deculus holds the records for most career starts (61) in LSU football history, including serving as the starting right tackle for the 2019 national championship team. The 6-foot-3, 327-pound Hines was a four-year letterman and appeared in 35 games (17 starts) and took part in the Reese’s Senior Bowl.
