The Saints could be without their most seasoned wide receiver heading into the Thursday night matchup against the Atlanta Falcons.
Marques Colston has been listed as doubtful in the injury report released on Wednesday with a shoulder injury.
It was reported that Colston has a separated shoulder following the loss on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles. Payton declined to comment on the severity of the injury up until the first injury report was released on Monday.
Offensive lineman Terron Armstead is also doubtful prior to Thursday’s game who is also suffering from a shoulder injury.
