Meche’s Fantasy Football Advice – Love/Hate Week 14

To all the leagues that start their fantasy playoffs, congratulations to those have made it into the tournament. For others, this is their final week to make that final push for that last playoff spot. Here are some players I believe you should start and some you should avoid.

LOVE

Dak Prescott – Prescott should bounce back after having an underwhelming performance against the Saints last Thursday. Dallas will take on the Football team, who are dead last in points to signal callers.

Javonte Williams – Williams has been killing it the last few weeks and has solidified himself in the Broncos offense in Gordon’s absence. Another big game should be brewing since Denver hosts Detroit. The Lions could be riding a little too high after winning their first game of the season and slip up big time this next game.

Tee Higgins – With JaMarr Chase taking a back seat these last few weeks, Joe Burrow has been going to Higgins, as he has averaged 26 points. Not to mention, the 49ers defense has given up four touchdowns to wide receivers and the fifth-most fantasy points to the position since week 10.

DJ Moore – Let’s be honest with ourselves, who wouldn’t start their receivers versus the Falcons. They are awful as a whole on defense as they are tied for second with most touchdowns given up to wide receivers. It wouldn’t hurt to give Robby Anderson a shot if you are thin at the position.

Aaron Rodgers – Rodgers against Chicago is ALWAYS a must-start. As he’s said himself he owns them and has been on fire the last couple of weeks. He will have a healthy Aaron Jones to go to since he’s been injured lately.

HATE

Matt Ryan – It has been rough for the Falcons offense since that Dallas game. Ryan has thrown only one touchdown, has been picked off five times and has averaged just over six fantasy points in his last four games. They will play the Panthers, who unlike Atlanta, have trended in the right direction.

James Robinson – Robinson will likely play this Sunday, but won’t be 100 percent as he’s dealing with knee issues. His snap percentage has gone down lately and Carlos Hyde has picked up some of those lost snaps. Tennessee is also top 10 in the league in fantasy point given up to running backs.

Kenny Golladay – Golladay has been a bust in fantasy this year with the Giants. Daniel Jones hasn’t seen him as a go-to target and has yet to score a touchdown. His next matchup is against the Chargers, who allow the third fewest points. Jake Fromm will also being making the start this week for New York this week.

Rob Gronkowski – Gronk has gone crazy as of late, but I get that feeling Buffalo will put that to an end. He’s been pretty good historically against them, but the Bills defense has been stingy to tight ends, ranking fifth in points given up and has allowed only three touchdowns all season to the position.

Darrell Henderson – Henderson had a good fantasy output the last time he played the Cardinals, but Cardinals have been locking up running backs lately. Arizona has given up five rushing touchdowns and no receiving touchdowns this season.
