- Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevor Lawrence, QB, Clemson
Lawrence is as much of a lock at number one as a player can be as a prospect.
- New York Jets – Zach Wilson, QB, BYU
With Lawrence already taken, Wilson is the next best quarterback to be taken off the board. The leap he made between the last two years proves that.
- San Francisco 49ers – Justin Fields, QB, Ohio St.
Fields needs to be the pick if the 49ers are going for a quarterback. His ceiling and potential will give them the opportunity to get back to the big game.
- Atlanta Falcons – Trey Lance, QB, North Dakota St. Univ.
Sitting behind Ryan and developing will be essential for his future as a pro. His aggressive running style when needed to be shown off will be a nice change of pace compared to Matt Ryan and being an old-school pocket passer.
- Cincinnati Bengals – Penei Sewell, OL, Oregon
Having a change of heart with this pick. Sewell getting tossed to Right Tackle will give Burrow the time he needs to throw and get through reads.
- Miami Dolphins – Ja’Marr Chase, WR, LSU
Tua gets the best receiver prospect to pair with Parker and Fuller when he comes back from suspension. This would be a productive offense adding an all-around great receiver prospect.
- Detroit Lions – Jaylen Waddle, WR, Alabama
Goff needs someone good to throw to and get the ball to other than Hockenson. We saw what happened the last time Tyrell Williams was the number one receiver for a team and it wasn’t very successful.
- Carolina Panthers – Kyle Pitts, TE, Florida
This offense would be loads of fun to watch on Sundays. All these weapons and no Adam Gase gives Darnold no reason not to get this team places.
- Denver Broncos – Micah Parsons, LB, Penn St.
Parsons’ run-stopping ability and the edge presence in Von and Chubb to sack the quarterback is something scary. He is truly an unstoppable force in the backfield.
- Dallas Cowboys – Patrick Surtain, CB, Alabama
Jerry Jones offense has been given a lot of attention this offseason. Surtain’s father even agrees that he wants to see his son play for Dallas.
- New York Giants – Rashawn Slater, OT, Northwestern
The G-Men need to improve on the inside of the offensive line. Slater has the versatility to get pushed inside but also is athletic to work on the outside of the line.
- Philadelphia Eagles – Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah, LB, Notre Dame
JOK lacks a little size but is great in pass coverage and in the run game. His pursuit on the ball he displays on tape is insane.
- Los Angeles Chargers – Christian Darrisaw, OT, Virginia Tech
Protecting Justin Herbert and improving the offensive line is something that has to be addressed early in the draft. His blocking in the pass and run will serve Herbert well.
- Minnesota Vikings – Kwity Paye, EDGE, Michigan
Paye’s got the potential to be an every-down player and be a good pair on the opposite side of Danielle Hunter. Edge is a big need to stop the run and get to the quarterback.
- New England Patriots – DeVonta Smith, WR, Alabama
The Hoodie went off the ball and went off on a spending spree in free agency. Getting Cam more weapons shows they believe in the abilities and still make an impact in the league.
- Arizona Cardinals – Alijah Vera-Tucker, OG, USC
Beefing up the offensive line is a plan worth going for to keep Murray upright. His influence in the run game is something Conner didn’t have in Pittsburgh.
- Las Vegas Raiders – Teven Jenkins, OT, Oklahoma St.
Having Jenkins on the right side of the line will help keep Carr protected on the outside. His aggressive mentality reminds me a lot of Gruden.
- Miami Dolphins – Jayson Oweh, EDGE, Penn St.
Oweh’s pro day has many scouts talking lately. One thing to note from it is his 40 time, and boy was it eye-popping considering the position he plays.
- Washington – Mac Jones, QB, Alabama
The potential to move up to get Mac is very realistic. Mac makes good decisions and rarely puts the ball in harm’s way.
- Chicago Bears – Greg Newsome II, CB, Northwestern
Without Fuller, Chicago needs an outside corner. Newsome is a great prospect that’ll keep the defense good and Chicago in games.
- Indianapolis Colts – Azeez Ojulari, EDGE, Georgia
Right now I am still in favor of replenishing the edge. Ojulari looks for sacks and gets pressure on the quarterback often. Receiver is definitely another position to look into early on.
- Tennessee Titans – Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota
Since the Titans have moved on from Davis getting his replacement makes sense. Bateman has a slightly smaller wingspan but still good for jump ball situations.
- New York Jets – Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
The son of former Saints WR Joe Horn could be the best overall corner in this class. Teams seem to have concern over if he’s injury prone or not.
- Pittsburgh Steelers – Najee Harris, HB, Alabama
Pittsburgh moved on from James Conner for a reason. Targeting someone like Etienne or Harris is likely the way they go for this pick.
- Jacksonville Jaguars – Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
Moehrig is a great all-around safety that can play in the box or go out into coverage. His versatility makes him a valuable asset and can help bring the defense back to 2017 type of success.
- Cleveland Browns – Christian Barmore, DT, Alabama
Letting go of a position this late in free agency calls to attention them seeing someone high in the draft at the same position. Barmore serves as a cheap replacement for Richardson.
- Baltimore Ravens – Terrace Marshall Jr., WR, LSU
Moore has a higher rank than Marshall but Baltimore getting a bigger body receiver makes more sense. Could be a nice compliment to being Lamar’s second favorite target.
- New Orleans Saints – Zaven Collins, LB, Tulsa
Zaven still makes sense at this pick. Getting a cornerback would be nice but Farley’s health concerns might turn GM’s away early on.
- Green Bay Packers – Elijah Moore, WR, Mississippi
Maybe this is finally the year Green Bay gets a receiver in the first round. His stature is smaller but he is known to make huge plays with the ball in his hands.
- Buffalo Bills – Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB, Syracuse
The Syracuse corner displays the ability to press up and get close to the line of scrimmage to jam receivers from getting out of their break to go with an above-average height for a corner at 6’ 3”. Melifonwu sniffs out screens and blows the play up for loss of yards and small gains.
- Kansas City Chiefs – Samuel Cosmi, OT, Texas
Cosmi’s pass protection ability saves Mahomes on his blind side with excellent fundamentals. Sticking with the best available left tackle for a that passes a lot is essential for Mahomes’ health.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Levi Onwuzurike, DT, Washington
Suh is bound to leave or retire after this season. Levi will get one good year to learn from Suh and progressively take over his spot next season.
