The New Orleans Pelicans schedule for the NBA season resumption in Orlando, Florida released on Friday night.
Here are their opponent for the eight regular season games:
July 30 – Utah Jazz
August 1 – Los Angeles Clippers
August 3 – Memphis Grizzlies
August 6 – Sacramento Kings
August 7 – Washington Wizards
August 9 – San Antonio Spurs
August 11 – Sacramento Kings
August 13 – Orlando Magic
New Orleans is 1-2 against Utah this season with their lone 138-132 win coming in overtime on Jan. 16. They are 1-2 versus the Clippers. The Pelicans are 2-0 against Memphis. Both wins were by double digits, 126-116 win on Jan. 20 and 139-111 win on Jan. 31.
New Orleans beat the Kings 117-115 in their only game of the season and now they will play twice in eight games.
They had two games scheduled against Washington before the season was suspended. They lost their only game against the Spurs 121-117, which was Zion Williamson’s NBA debut. Orlando defeated New Orleans 130-119 on Dec. 15.

New Orleans is currently 3.5 games behind the Memphis Grizzlies for the 8th spot in the Western Conference. They are 10th in the West behind the nine seed Portland Trailblazers. Portland and New Orleans
All 22 teams traveling to Orlando for the season restart will each play eight regular season games for playoff seeding. After the eight games, the eight and nine seeds will compete in a play-in tournament if the nine seed is four games or fewer behind the eight seed.
The nine seed will have to earn two wins, but the eight seed will only need one win. The eight seed essentially has a 1-0 lead entering the play-in tournament.
According to Charania, New Orleans will travel to Orlando on July 8 along with the Boston Celtics, Los Angeles Clippers, Dallas Mavericks, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Sacramento Kings and Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Pelicans will be in the same resort as the other teams outside of the postseason. New Orleans will have three scrimmages in that week before the games for playoff seeding begin between the Trailblazers, Kings, Spurs, Suns or Wizards.
