The New Orleans Pelicans acquired Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adam as part of the trade involving Jrue Holiday.

Adams was selected 12th overall by the Thunder in the 2012 NBA Draft.
The 6’11 New Zealand native spent seven seasons in Oklahoma City. At 27 years old, Adams averaged 9.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game during his time with the Thunder.
Adams averaged 10.9 points, 9.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 63 games played last season.
The Pelicans also signed center Willy Hernangomez to a one-year minimum deal on Sunday.
Hernangomez spent last season with the Charlotte Hornets. He was taken with the 35th overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2015 NBA Draft.
Hernangomez averaged 6.1 points and 4.3 rebounds per game last year. The 6’11 center played 12.1 minutes per game, appearing in 31 games last season.
