The New Orleans Pelicans landed in Orlando, Florida on Wednesday for the NBA’s resumption of the 2019-20 season.
The season was suspended on March 11, but now New Orleans is less than two weeks away from their first scrimmage game against the Brooklyn Nets on July 22.
The team is now at the sight of where the NBA’s restart will take place.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, head coach Alvin Gentry was cleared to travel with the team on Wednesday before they departed to Florida.
New Orleans is scheduled to play three scrimmages before their eight playoff seeding games. They are scheduled to play Brooklyn, Denver and Milwaukee for their scrimmage games.

New Orleans will have their first team practice on Friday afternoon, according to ESPN’s Andrew Lopez.
Some players were already getting settled in on the first night in Orlando.
