New Orleans Pelicans second half of the schedule released

The second half of the New Orleans Pelicans schedule was released on Wednesday.

New Orleans will play 16 home games and 18 away. The Pelicans will play back-to-back after the NBA All-Star break. They will open their second half of the season against the Minnesota Timberwolves on March 11 followed by another home game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The Pelicans’ second-half schedule features eight back-to-backs.

Here is a list of the nationally-televised games for New Orleans in the second half:

3/14: vs. LAC (ESPN)
3/16: at POR (TNT)
3/23: vs. LAL (TNT)
3/29: at BOS (NBATV)
4/7: at BKN (ESPN)
4/18: at NYK (ESPN) – Noon tip!
4/20: vs. BKN (TNT)
5/3: vs. GSW (ESPN)
5/9: at CHA (NBATV)

The Pelicans are currently 13-17 overall for the season and 11th in the Western Conference. The play-tournament for this year’s playoffs between the 7-10 seed in each conference begins on May 11. The play-in tournament is scheduled to be held May 18-21.

New Orleans is scheduled to play five of their final six games on the road before ending their season at home against the Los Angeles Lakers on May 16.
