The New Orleans Saints have signed quarterback Taysom Hill to a contract extension, according to ESPN’s Senior NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Hill has played in all 16 games for the Saints in the past two seasons. The three-year pro out of BYU played more of a prominent role in the Saints offense in 2019. Hill recorded 156 rushing yards on 27 carries. He caught 19 receptions for 234 receiving yards and six touchdowns. Hill also completed three passes on six attempts for 55 yards.
New Orleans and former Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston are also finalizing a one-year deal.
The Saints recently drafted Mississippi State quarterback Tommy Stevens in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
