Nick Toon is another casualty of the first roster cuts to the New Orleans Saints.
Toon, drafted in the fourth round out of Wisconsin in 2012, has been waived by the Saints according to WWL.
Toon had a good ending to the 2014 season with 17 receptions for 215 yards and a touchdown.
Toon had recently suffered a sprained ankle that might have put the writing on the wall for the third-year wide reciever. This leaves Akiem Hicks as the sole Saint left from the 2012 draft.
The Saints still have six players to move before the 3 pm deadline.
