Will Wade and Brandon Murray will be reunited.

Multiple media outlets reported on Saturday that Ole Miss junior point guard Brandon Murray was committed to playing for the McNeese Cowboys. The 6-foot-5, 210-pound guard appeared in 23 games (three starts) and averaged 4.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game for the Rebels.

Murray was a prep star at Poly High in Baltimore before playing at IMG Academy in Florida. He then signed to play for Wade at LSU and started 32 games as a true freshman.

Murray finished third on the Tigers in scoring with 10 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game as he was selected to the SEC All-Freshman Team.

After LSU parted ways with Wade after the 2021-22 season, Murray transferred to Georgetown and started 27 games for the Hoyas. He finished second on the team with 13.7 points per game, while also grabbing 3.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists.

Murray entered the NCAA Transfer Portal again and committed to play for Chris Beard at Ole Miss. This will be the fourth team in four years for Murray.
