The New Orleans Pelicans (48-34) have been on a roll offensively as of late, winning their last five games of the regular season, with four of them being by double digits. Wednesday night was no different with the Pelicans taking down the Spurs 122-98.
Key to Victory
The Pelicans offense got off to a hot start and that can definitely be attributed to fastbreak points. They absolutely dominated in that statistic, putting up 32 points compared to the Spurs paltry 17 points.
Big Number: 68.1
The Pelicans were able to get it done offensively thanks in large part to some solid shooting inside. While they shot a poor 26.3% from beyond the arc, New Orleans shot 68.1 percent inside the arc which more than made up for the poor three-point shooting percentage.

Player of the Game: Rajon Rondo
The man continues to be a beast for the Pelicans in the home stretch, scoring 19 points and 14 assists on the evening. He’s been a big part of the Pelicans success because of his ability to get some ball movement.
