What a way to end the daunting three games in three days. After being down by 11 at the end of the third quarter, the New Orleans Pelicans (43-30) rallied back and thanks to another big game from Anthony Davis, they were able to take down the Los Angeles Lakers (31-40) 128-125.
Key to Victory: Attack the Paint
The Pelicans knew what they needed to do to get out of this big three-game stretch smelling like roses and they were able to attack the paint all night, with 80 of their 128 points coming from in the paint.

Player of the Game: Jrue Holiday
Jrue Holiday has had an interesting week to say the least and his performance on Thursday was a prime example of this as he shot 75% from the field, racking up 26 points, three boards and six assists a couple of days after missing a ballgame with flu-like symptoms.

Where They Stand
With the win, the New Orleans Pelicans move up to fourth in the Western Conference. This is due to the Thunder’s loss earlier in the week to the Celtics giving them the win.
Next Up: H-Town Road Trip
The Pelicans finally get a day of on Friday before headed to Houston to take on the Rockets (58-14) with tipoff set for 7 pm.
